     Weapons

  •         The Darklight - The Darklight is a sword made with the essence of pure evil.  Created by the Clerics of the Knight of Darkness for the personal use of High Lord D'Zynge, its power comes from a gem built into the pummel of the blade.  Sealed within the gem are the lost souls of all those who have been killed by the Darklight. 

  •      The Darklight is a unique sword that only may be used by a person dedicated to evil and is the leader of the Knights of Darkness (later the Knights of Dayros).   Others who try to grasp the sword will (depending on their will power) either be struck with an extremely strong electrical shock from the blade or have their soul captured within the gem. 
     
    • AD&D 2nd Ed. Stats - Long Sword +3, XP Value 2000, +3 normal, +5 vs. Good Aligned Creatures, Darkness (15' Radius) on command of wielder, Characters killed by the Darklight cannot be resurrected because of the Swords ability to capture Souls.  Gives wielder an AC of -2.
    • AD&D 3rd Ed. Stats - Keen Long Sword +3, +3 normal, +5 vs. Good Aligned Creatures, Darkness on command of wielder, Characters killed by the Darklight cannot be resurrected because of the Swords ability to capture Souls.  Gives wielder an AC of 22.
    • Saga Rules Stats - Long Sword, Melee, H, +17, Gives wielder a defence rating of -3, Characters killed by the Darklight cannot be resurrected because of the Swords ability to capture Souls.
      Artifacts
  •         The Four Dragon Scepters -  Scepters created by Dracos during the All Dragons War to subdue the Dragons.  There are Four scepters due to the fact that there are four different groups of Dragons (Chromatic, Metallic, Gem, and 'Wild').   Each scepters give the wielder complete control of a specific group of Dragons. 

  •      After the All Dragons War and when the Dragons where condemned to sleep for Five Hundred Years, Dracos gave the four scepters to the scholars of Signium.  The scholars accepted the scepters and created 'plane' for each scepter to be held in.  These dimensional planes can only be accessed by one of the four gates in the city of Balor.  At each direction (North, East, South and West) are two pillars, each covered with magical runes and glyphs.  These pillars a called the Pillars of Dracos. 
     
  •       The Orb of Xars - The orb of Xars is a magical ball of crystal, which lies hidden within the Isle of Magic.  Created by mages from the Order of High Sorcery as a means of protecting their sacred Island, it causes the island to be slightly out of phase with the rest of the world.  If sailing the Sea of the Arcane one would see a blurred shape on the horizon, one that could never be reached.  The only way to get to the island is by invitation, then, the island finds you.
